STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, Rhea Lana Store (link) or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.
You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .
If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.
The better they look, the better they sell! Please take time to wash and iron your clothes if necessary. Please check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc. We will be double checking at the store and will not receive any item that is not in excellent condition. Use children's plastic hangers for sizes 10 and below. Use larger plastic hangers for sizes 12 and above. You may also use wire coated hangers as long as they are 'size appropriate.' NO METAL HANGERS, PLEASE! Plastic and wire-coated hangers can be purchased at discount stores. This makes shopping more pleasant for everyone!
We are receiving only FALL and WINTER clothing items at this sale, including Children's, Junior, and Maternity. So bring your best like-new coats, sweaters, ski bibs, blazers, boys suits, holiday outfits, sweat suits, boots...Anything that welcomes the cooler weather! We are also accepting Halloween costumes, Mardi Gras themed items, Saints, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day.
Please group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $3.00. They may be pinned together on a hanger.
All pants must be pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor.
Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together. With pants hung on the back of the shirt at the waist. Both pieces need to be easily seen without unpinning them.
Each item must be in current style and excellent condition.
WE DO LIMIT NEWBORN CLOTHING ITEMS (SIZES 0-9 MONTHS) TO 25 ITEMS PER CONSIGNOR and MATERNITY CLOTHING ITEMS to 10 ITEMS PER CONSIGNOR, and HAIR BOWS to 10 PER CONSIGNOR. YOU WILL DEFINITELY WANT TO BRING YOUR BEST ITEMS IN THESE CATEGORIES.
Please only bring your like-new shoes! Shoes are difficult to tag. First, write your consignor number and price on masking tape and place it on the bottom of each shoe. Then safety pin the tag to a shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet. Put the shoes and tag inside a ziploc bag. It also helps to include your consignor number, shoes size, and price on the outside of the ziploc. (you can write directly on the bag with a permanent marker.)
It is best to package a bedding set together in its original clear plastic bag with zipper. These can also be purchased at discount stores.
Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together in a ziploc bag and seal with clear plastic tape. Safety pin or tape the string portion of the tag to ziploc bag.
Bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, bows, etc., group together appropriately in ziploc bags. Seal with clear packing tape. Pin tag to ziploc bag. It also helps to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc with a permanent marker in case the tag comes off during the sale. We will not accept used nipples or pacifiers - only new, in the original packaging.
Your car seat must have been manufactured within the past five years, and have a minimum of 12 months left of use before they expire. It must not be subject to recall or have been in an accident. Check here for current recalls. All seat covers and straps must be thoroughly cleaned. You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver stating your car seat has all the pieces and is in excellent condition and not more than five years old. Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons.
